Review: Mother Pucker

This was another cute and funny romcom from the series. Here we see Shay, the always uptight one of the “mom-com”, learning to figuratively let her hair down after meeting hockey star Rowan.

I’ve always liked Shay’s son Kai in the previous 2 books, but it was great seeing his character blossom even more. I also loved that Shay had a chance to find some healing and become a little less neurotic and even more likeable.

Rowan was a great addition to the chaotic madness of the brownstone characters, however, I would have liked to see a little more of him physically at the brownstone. His more easy going nature was a great balance to Shay’s more serious personality.

This was an audiobook listen for me, narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor. Teddy does well with the loveable easy going characters, while Samantha captured Shay’s sometimes tense and worried moments along with her emerging fun side.

This was a fun listen / read and while I’m eagerly anticipating the 4th and final series release, Mother Hater, I’m not at all ready to say goodbye to the mom-com!
