ALC: Goal Line

Boston Rebels are back and this time its with my absolute favorite trope – friends to lovers! Luke and Eva were teased earlier in the series and their story was chef’s kiss! They’ve been friends since forever but Luke is always there to have her back. When Eva gets more than she bargained for from a one night stand, Luke is there for her with a marriage of convenience proposal. Of course with Luke being part of his hockey team owning family and Eva being the Coach’s daughter, there’s a lot of family drama to unpack for these two.

Even though they get hitched, this book is still a slow burn, as these two have pined for each other but fear ruining what they have. I couldn’t wait for these two to wake up and see what everyone around them already knew! But sometimes, the anticipation and pining, when done righ, keeps me coming back for more. I loved these two as a couple, and I am particularly fond of just what an incredible guy Luke was.

This review wouldn’t be complete without talking about the incredible job Savannah Peachwood and Sean Masters did narrating this story. I mean, I may be slightly biased since they are two of my favorites, but they were perfect, especially in duet.

I am totally locked into this series, and I am eagerly anticipating book 5!
