“It’s not everything to me. Not anymore. You are”

Gahh… this book was so freaking amazing, hands down my favorite of the series!! I legit wore a silly little grin for the last hour of the audiobook, it was witty and spicy and just everything I love in a book wrapped up in a bow. I knew Georgia and Alexei would be fire together and I was not wrong. We’ve seen that these two had extreme dislike for each other, but never knew what the root cause was since they were each so well liked by the rest of the team. That dislike was based on some assumptions and misunderstandings (when is it not lol). When Alexei has an issue with his citizenship and Georgia needs her inheritance, they strike an uneasy alliance to fake marry each other for only as long as it takes to achieve their goals. Like all romance misunderstandings though, the truth sets these enemies free to explore the buried attraction they’ve been ignoring for a while, and the sparks fly.

I am an absolute simp for how big bad gruff Alexei cares for and takes care of Georgia, who knew he could be so loving! And once Georgia’s walls start coming down, she sees all the love her husband has inside of him. I loved the secret messages in flowers, and how those messages evolved. It was also really fun to get to revisit the previous 3 couples and see how they support this couple into a real relationship, everyone knew they were perfect together.

Duet narration between JF Harding and Stella Hunter was the bees knees lol. I think this was the most perfect character casting I’ve had the pleasure of listening to in a while.

Of course, we get a little glimpse into our next couple in the epilogue, and I am truly curious to see how Ms. Archer orchestrates a love story between Coach Ward and Jordan.
